The Wesh Veterans Awards:

The 2020 Welsh Veterans Awards Recognise our Veterans in Business, Fitness, Sport and the wider community, those reservists doing great things and the Companies that support our Military Community! In Wales, we have a huge number of highly successful Armed Forces Veterans that have made the transition from the Military to civilian life and we want to reward these veterans who have gone above and beyond and excelled in their relevant fields. They will act as role models for future service leavers. We want to find the people who even during the most difficult periods have excelled! As such, we feel they should be given every opportunity to highlight their achievements and success, which is why the awards have been created.

The VC Gallery has been shortlisted in the Health and Wellbeing category this year. Last year the gallery’s founder, Barry John, took home 3 awards at the event.

The announcement of potential award success comes on the heels of another busy week for The VC Gallery. As the galleries start to open back up again and the outreach continues, we are easing out of lockdown by running online creative workshops. Art tutor, Nina Camplin, and creative writer James Silbers will be running the courses every Wednesday & Thursday via Facebook live streams and 1 on 1 Zoom Sessions. Feel free to get in touch if you would like to join any of our workshops.
