A TRIBUTE TO DANNY KING

One of our much-loved veterans and staff, Danny King, passed away unexpectedly during the summer of 2017. As a memorial to his family, his friends, and to us as a gallery, we set out to showcase all of Danny’s work. He had never painted before he came to the gallery and he was a testament to people starting out and proof of what can be achieved. We collected together all of his art and, alongside Anna Waters (landscape artist) and Mark Shuttleworth (SSAFA charity), we curated a stunning show of his works in the Senedd Cardiff for his family. Baroness Elenud Morgan and Cardiff TV covered the show which was a lovely tribute to Danny two days before he was buried. Never forgotten by The VC.
