Community Art Workshop

With our magic little grant we have been able to run community art workshops each week under the guidance of an artist our group has looked at various scenes and used lots of different techniques to achieve great results.

The welcoming, warm sessions have helped people to make friends, connect with each other and to learn various skills.

This year Magic Little Grants will be funding more organisations than they ever have before and they will still be spreading this funding out far and wide across the country. Last year Magic Little Grants expanded their eligibility criteria which will remain this year. In previous years, funding had to go towards projects that were delivering sports or physical activities. But this year funding can go towards any of the following projects:

• Improving mental wellbeing
• Enabling community participation in the arts
• Preventing or reducing the impact of poverty
• Supporting marginalised groups and promoting equality
• Improving biodiversity and green spaces
• Enabling participation in physical activity
• Responding to the climate emergency and promoting sustainability
• Increasing community access to outdoor space
