PACIFIC ROW 2019

The VC were proud to sponsor the ‘Charitable Adventurer’ Charlie Martel on his Guinness World Record attempt to be the first person to row land to land solo across the Pacific from west to east. This was Charlie’s second attempt after his trusty raft, ‘Blossom’, was hit by a storm on the first attempt in 2012. Charlie’s attempt managed to raise money for veterans in need through incorporating The VC as a charity sponsor. He remains a friend of the Gallery to this day.
